How can you, plural, those of you who call yourselves Christian who have corrupted his message so thoroughly and completely makes me ill, though I will pray for you as I always do. You would believe the church, the body of christ, his house, is a building and certain people have been granted authority to interpret his words for you. I feel so sad for you sheep because the wolf is at the door and all you can say is repeat "baaaa" because that is all the wolf has taught you. Your preachers and your ministers are wolves wearing the sheep's clothing. Christ's church IS his people and all are equal and none are qualified to speak on his behalf. He speaks directly to his flock. Holy crap you guys really need to wake up and start seeking because he's not hiding, he's being hidden from you.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. His Church is all people who have accepted Him as their Savior. He reveals Himself in His Word to His people. And His Word says that He set Apostles, Prophets, Pastors, Teachers...in the Church for the "perfecting of the saints, for the work of ministry." Doesn't sound to me like Christ thinks Pastor's and Ministers are wolves in sheep's clothing since He is the one who placed them in the Church to start with.

While the Holy Spirit does interpret Scripture for the individual, God does raise up human teachers to speak His Word. People that claim "I don't need to go to church or have any teacher, all I need is my Bible" are foolish. We all need to place ourselves in the presence of godly human teachers. Of course, ALWAYS listen to these people in the light of Scripture and make sure their teaching is in line with what the Bible says.

But to answer your question. Jesus is god in human flesh and His church are those who place their trust in Him.

I am in bondage to no man. However I can't help but note the similarity between your words and the statement of Korah when he rebelled against Moses, God's ordained leader saying:

"You have gone to far! For all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the Lord is among them; why then do you exalt yourselves above the assembly of the Lord?"

(Numbers 16:3)

A short while later, the earth opened up and swallowed Korah alive together with all his company.

God does have His appointed leaders.

Have a care, lest your supposed freedom be found to be rebellion against the Lord.

The Bible is about Jesus (Luke 24:27,44; John 5:39; Heb. 10:7). The prophets prophesied about Him (Acts 10:43). The Father bore witness of Him (John 5:37, 8:18). The Holy Spirit bore witness of Him (John 15:26). The works Jesus did bore witness of Him (John 5:36; 10:25). The multitudes bore witness of Him (John 12:17). And, Jesus bore witness of Himself (John 14:6, 18:6).

Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1,14). He is fully God and fully man (Col. 2:9) thus, He has two natures: God and man. He is not half God and half man. He is 100% God and 100% man. He never lost his divinity. He existed in the form of God and when He became a man, He added human nature1 to Himself (Phil. 2:5-11). Therefore, there is a "union in one person of a full human nature and a full divine nature."2 Right now in heaven there is a man, Jesus, who is Mediator between us and God the Father (1 Tim. 2:5). Jesus is our advocate with the Father (1 John 2:1). He is our Savior (Titus 2:13). He is our Lord (Rom. 10:9-10). He is not, as some cults teach, an angel who became a man.

The true church of God is not an organization on earth consisting of people and buildings, but is really a supernatural entity comprised of those who are saved by Jesus. It spans the entire time of man's existence on earth as well as all people who are called into it. We become members of the church (body of Christ) by faith (Acts 2:41). We are edified by the Word (Eph. 4:15-16), disciplined by God (Matt. 18:15-17), unified in Christ (Gal. 3:28), and sanctified by the Spirit (Eph. 5:26-27).

That is not just a recent phenomenon. In 325AD the religious leaders, when compiling the Bible, rejected any scroll that would not justify their exuberance for building Religious Empires.

For Example: When Jesus visited the Essenes, they recorded his every word. Their scroll "The Gospel of the Essene" was not only rejected the Essenes were hunted down and executed in mass. Of course, a few escaped with copies of their scroll.

Why would the religious empire do such an unchristian thing?
